Course Overview
In this course, Zara Chaudary, a DEIB Strategists and Trainer at PowerToFly, will walk you through the high-level concepts that surround diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, at work and beyond. Throughout this course, you’ll learn new vocabulary, tips for measuring DEIB, and best practices for implementing DEIB strategies at your workplace.
Learning Outcomes
Over the next 5 modules, you’ll:
- Gain a basic understanding of what each of the elements of DEIB are and what their implementation in the workplace looks like
- Learn how to assess your organization’s current DEIB execution and identify areas for improvement
- Set basic short-term DEIB objectives for your organization
Course Content
This course breaks down the basic concepts surrounding diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Along the way, we’ll share tips and best practices for how to set DEIB goals and increase DEIB efforts on your team.
Each learning module is broken down into three video lessons with accompanying lesson texts, resources, and knowledge checks. You can move through the lessons in order, or jump back to review videos or other elements of the course.
